Appreciate My Publisher Week - Naughty Nights Press

Greetings peeps! Taking another day off from regular scheduled programming this Tuesday to post about my awesome pubs. NNP and Rebel. Let's start woith NNP!

This is a match made in heaven you know, a naughty publisher who takes care of this wicked gal. The CEO Gina has done so much for my career, accepting work and allowing me the chance to refine my craft. *ahem* That sounds like something Michael Mandrake would say but its true! This couldn't have been more evident when she took a chance on a story I wrote for the Wicked Wanton Anthology.

Once I finished the second draft of the story, it sounded much better than the original but even now I see how flawed the story is. That's what being a pub is about! You take chances on a writer when you can see the potential. Sharita will tell you how some rejections left her scratching her head, not because she thought the story she subbed was bombass but because they shut the door and didn't even extend the opportunity to rewrite or anything.

Now, some don't have the time and don't want the hassle but my two pubs, NNP and Rebel, who I will talk about tomorrow, have given me that opportunity!

This wicked gal and her sweet sister  muse Rawiya needed some stroking and NNP has more than provided that and the guidance to become better.

I hope to publish many more books with NNP as I continue to learn more about creative writing. I'll always be grateful to Gina for giving me that chance to be a published author! She and her wonderful team of editors like Jennifer Gunn and her cover artist Shane have been instrumental in getting the wicked gal and Rawiya's names out there to the masses.

Of course that wouldn't be possible without the wonderful Penny Peterson who Rawiya would focus on tomorrow. She's what a publishers press person should be, always assisting the writer with promotional opportunities for their books.

So in closing, why do I love my pub? She took a chance, she takes the time to work with me on my writing, she's a friend and an awesome boss! I'm very satisfied with this relationship, and hope we can continue well into the future!

Join me tomorrow for the second installment for Rebel Ink Press who has also helped me to be better writer and again big kudos and thanks to Gina Kincade and her awesome team at NNP!
